God’s Purpose For the Male (Men's Meeting)

Image
Elder Dave explains God’s purpose for men and how that fits with women in His plan. God created both males and females with the same worth, and a man’s first calling is to live close to God and worship Him in everyday life. He is meant to lead like Jesus—serving instead of controlling, and mixing humility, love, and courage so his family and community can grow. Woman is given as a true partner who completes and complements man, so together they can care for God’s world under His authority. Men are not meant to live or work alone, but to walk beside others, treating them with honor as people made in God’s image. Real strength comes from staying connected to Christ and letting God’s Word shape thoughts, words, and habits at home, at work, and at church. A man is called to be faithful in small tasks, knowing only God can bring real growth. Not Just a Christian, But a Disciple

Christian vs. Disciple A Christian believes in Jesus. A disciple follows and obeys Jesus every day. Ask: “Am I just wearing the name, or really following Him?” Saved by Grace, Not by Me The Bible in Ephesians 2 says we are saved by God’s grace, not by our own efforts. I don’t earn God’s love; I receive it as a gift. Because of this, I can relax in His love and stop trying to “be good enough.” Let Jesus Change My Life Romans 12 talks about giving my whole life to God. Being a disciple means letting Jesus change my thoughts, choices, and habits. Ask: “Do my actions show that Jesus is really in charge?” Disciples Make More Disciples In Matthew 28, Jesus tells His followers to make disciples everywhere. This means I help others know and follow Jesus too. Ask: “Who am I encouraging to walk closer with Jesus?” No Lukewarm Faith Revelation 3 warns against being “lukewarm” in faith. Jesus wants my full heart, not halfway faith. A...
