🛐Are You Ignoring God’s Warning?
🛐Are You Ignoring God’s Warning?
Here's the Idea
God’s Word must be taken personally, not treated as if it is only for someone else.
Ignoring God’s warning can cause a person to miss rescue.
Comfort, busyness, pride, and delay can make the heart slow to repent.
A person can miss God’s rescue by ignoring one clear warning from Scripture or the Holy Spirit.
Spiritual Readiness — Matthew 24:42
Jesus said to watch because no one knows when He is coming.
Believers should not live carelessly as if they have unlimited time.
Christ will surely return, so the heart must remain awake and alert.
The proper response is to live ready, humble, obedient, and spiritually watchful.
Wrong Voices — 2 Peter 3:3–4
Scripture warns that scoffers will mock the promise of Christ’s return.
Laughing at truth does not make truth false.
Wrong voices can weaken faith and make sin easier to excuse.
Believers must reject voices that pull them away from surrender and obedience.
Spiritual Sleep — 1 Thessalonians 5:6
Paul warns believers not to sleep spiritually like others.
A person can be physically awake but still numb toward God.
Distractions, laziness, and weak prayer can dull spiritual sensitivity.
Believers should build habits that keep the heart alert and devoted to God.
A Crowded Heart — Luke 21:34–36
Jesus warned that pleasure, worry, and daily life can weigh down the heart.
A distracted heart can become unprepared for Christ’s return.
Prayer, truth, and repentance must have room in the heart.
Believers must examine whether worry or pleasure has become more important than God.
Delayed Obedience — Romans 13:11
Paul says it is time to wake up.
Delaying what God has already commanded can become disobedience.
The time to obey is today, not tomorrow.
Spiritual urgency should not become routine or be ignored.
Religious Appearance — 2 Timothy 3:1–5
Paul warned that people can look religious while denying God’s power.
Religion without surrender is spiritually dangerous.
Outward appearance cannot replace inward holiness.
True faith should change the heart, not just improve the image.
Remember and Repent — Revelation 3:3
Jesus told the church to remember, hold fast, and repent.
Hearing truth is not enough if it does not lead to repentance.
Conviction should still move the heart.
God’s warnings only help when they are obeyed.
Personal Readiness for Jesus — Matthew 25:13
Jesus said no one knows the day or the hour.
Each person must be personally ready for Christ.
No one can borrow another person’s relationship with God.
Faith must be sincere, active, and ready.
Your Move is Next
Stop ignoring God.
Stop delaying obedience.
Stop protecting sin.
Surrender the whole heart.
Stop sleeping spiritually.
Remember that Jesus is coming again.
