• Revelation from God must become application in daily life, meaning everything God reveals according to His mystery must be applied to one's daily walk.
• Not knowing one's identity in Christ allows Satan to operate freely in the mind, making believers vulnerable to spiritual attack and discouragement.
• Accepting God means accepting the reality of spiritual warfare, and those who are not prepared for it should seriously consider whether they truly want to serve God.

The Nature of Spiritual Warfare and the Enemy's Tactics

• The devil does not primarily attack the body but rather attacks things around believers to distract them and bring them to a place of discouragement.
• Believers who lived worldly lives pushed through all obstacles to accomplish their desires, yet after coming to Christ they resort to excuses and mediocrity.
• The enemy does not waste energy attacking believers who are spiritually inactive, complacent, or living in compromise, as they pose no threat to his kingdom.
• What truly threatens the enemy is when believers come out of ignorance, identify his schemes, cancel his plans, pray over their families, walk in authority, and demonstrate visible transformation to others.
• Believers become a threat to the enemy when they operate in the supernatural power of God and bring deliverance, not when they engage in surface-level religious activity.

The Danger of Making Faith About Self Rather Than God

• When believers make their faith journey about themselves, they become exhausted because they are operating in their own strength rather than resting in God's.
• Doing things in the name of God without truly doing them for Him leads to a draining and unsustainable spiritual life.
• God intentionally limits certain people from involvement in His work to prevent them from taking credit for what He accomplishes.
• Red Fire Church belongs to God and not to its pastors, and this mindset of surrendered ownership should apply to every area of a believer's life including home, employment, and children.
• The enemy takes advantage of ignorance by making believers feel like the star, which leads to emotional instability and complaints when results are not seen.
• When faith is not about self, believers do not take credit, do not complain, and maintain gratitude regardless of circumstances.

Identity in Christ as the Foundation of Spiritual Stability

• The Apostle Paul's letter to the Ephesians contains six chapters representing six pillars that every believer should consider applying to their life.
• Jesus declared in John chapter 14 verse 6 that He is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him.
• People who are gifted and talented can help others grow, but placing expectations on people instead of God will inevitably lead to disappointment and disillusionment.
• Many believers have been hurt not by the church first but by themselves, because they elevated people onto a pedestal above God and blamed God when those people failed them.
• Focusing on the pastor rather than on what the pastor is conveying from God leads to misplaced devotion and spiritual instability.

The Responsibility of Discernment Through Study and Prayer

• Every word preached must be tested against the Word of God, as saying amen means agreement and approval, making the listener a participant in whatever is being affirmed.
• When a scripture is twisted, it draws believers into a manipulative web that can take years to recognize and escape from.
• Real discernment does not come from personal experience but from consistent study of the Word of God and prayer.
• Spiritual discernment functions as a filter that allows believers to test and identify whether a message originates from God, human nature, or a deceiving spirit.
• Discernment can be wrongly applied through human impulse, such as judging someone's spiritual condition based on appearance or behavior without genuine spiritual insight.
• Only God knows the hearts of people, and believers must be careful not to make assumptions about others based on outward expressions or reactions during worship.

Imitating Christ as the Model for Believers

• The Apostle Paul stated in 1 Corinthians chapter 11 verse 1 to imitate him as he imitates Christ, with the word imitate meaning to copy the actions, style, appearance, and behavior of someone.
• Beginning to imitate Christ produces visible benefits as the supernatural power of God transforms a person from the inside out, producing greater love and character.
• There is no such thing as a mean Christian, as a believer is either fully committed to God or not, with no middle ground.
• Many believers never apply the Word of God to their lives as they should, which leads to justifying the compromised behavior of others rather than addressing it.
• A compromised relationship with God is evidenced by going weeks without prayer or reading the Word while still expecting God to speak and reveal things.

Spiritual Wisdom as a Priority Over Material Blessings

• The Apostle Paul prayed not for material things for the church but for the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ, as recorded in Ephesians chapter 1 verse 17.
• Many believers condition their service to God on receiving material blessings such as jobs, houses, cars, or family stability, but God does not negotiate terms of service.
• Spiritual wisdom is defined as the ability to accomplish things that are very hard and challenging through human effort by instead executing them through inquiry of and reliance on God's sovereignty.
• Without spiritual wisdom it is impossible to manage the things God has delegated to a person, whether that involves pastoral leadership, family, or any other calling.
• Giving God material things without the spiritual wisdom to manage them is insufficient, as the wisdom to steward those blessings is more important than the blessings themselves.

The Danger of Operating in Calling Without Relationship with Christ

• Many people in churches today are focused on their calling but neglect their relationship with Christ, resulting in functioning in gifts without genuine connection to God.
• Individuals can deliver accurate prophecy and speak in tongues yet still hear Jesus say "depart from me, I never knew you" as recorded in scripture, making relationship the essential foundation.
• Operating under the wrong calling invites double attacks from the enemy, as a person who assumes a title God did not assign them faces opposition from two fronts simultaneously.
• Titles such as "chief apostle" or "chief prophetess" represent a deception of the devil, as they elevate a person above the calling given to them and reflect a form of idolatry.
• The true introduction of a person of God comes through the Holy Spirit and not through self-promotion, and those who speak more about themselves than about God reveal a misaligned heart.

Spiritual Authority and Atmosphere

• Believers are commanded by God to have authority, and that authority enables them to set the spiritual atmosphere of their environment.
• There are two kinds of atmospheres, the one a believer establishes and the atmosphere of the spirit of this world as described in Ephesians chapter 2 verse 2 regarding the prince and power of the air.
• When a believer owns a space and claims to have no peace in it, the responsibility lies with the believer rather than with demons or God, as they are the authority in that space.
• Entering places one is not supposed to enter can expose a believer to spiritual oppression, and when that oppression governs a person it indicates something within them that needs to be addressed.

Abuse of Authority in Church Leadership

• God created humanity to have dominion over the earth and its creatures as stated in Genesis chapter 1 verses 26 through 28, and not to dominate other people.
• Any pastor or church that dominates people rather than presenting Christ and allowing free will is operating in witchcraft.
• No minister should ever make a believer feel that failing to comply with their directives puts them in wrong standing with God, as the Holy Spirit brings conviction directly to the spirit of the believer.
• The apostolic movement over the last twenty years has seen significant abuse where leaders began using their position to extract money from congregants, teaching that financial offerings were required to receive the Word of God.
• Pastors who demand personal service, special treatment, and VIP access fees have crossed into taking advantage of God's people, as those people are not their servants.
• People without a strong identity in Christ are vulnerable to manipulation by leaders who use spiritual language to control behavior and extract resources.

The Hope of the Calling and Enlightenment of the Heart

• Ephesians chapter 1 verse 18 instructs that the eyes of understanding be enlightened so that believers may know the hope of their calling, with the eyes of understanding referring to the soul comprising the mind, will, and emotions.
• God desires to enlighten the inner person to give them a true understanding of their calling rather than a self-assigned or presumed one.
• Wherever God plants a believer, confrontation and stretching are signs of growth, and the discomfort of being challenged by the Word is a positive indicator of spiritual development.
• Spending extended time in the presence of God without a specific agenda, simply inviting Him to have His way, can accomplish in minutes what ignorance would stretch into years.
• The more time a believer allocates to God, the more He rewards them with spiritual blessings, which are of greater value than any material reward.

Touching God Versus Being Around God

• The woman with the issue of blood in scripture crawled through a crowd and touched the hem of Jesus's garment after twelve years of suffering and was immediately healed.
• Jesus perceived that power had gone out from Him and asked who had touched Him, distinguishing between the many who were physically near Him and the one who reached out in genuine faith.
• Many people want to be around Jesus or observe Him from a distance, but not everyone who is near Him is truly in touch with Him.
• Believers are called to pursue genuine contact with God rather than proximity to religious activity, titles, or personalities.

• Believers are encouraged to pursue a deeper and more consistent prayer life, with a goal of increasing daily prayer time as the spiritual demands of the current season require greater maturity.
